About Vivant Living Studios
Design That Reflects Who You Are
At Vivant, we believe home is more than a place. It’s an experience—a living, breathing reflection of who you are and what you value. Your space should support you, nourish you, and evolve with you.
We spend over half of our lives indoors. The space around us constantly interacts with our inner world, shaping how we feel, think, connect, and function. Lighting, sound, flow, colors, materials, and comfort aren’t just design features. They’re environmental cues that affect how we show up in our lives and relationships.
I created Vivant to bring a psychological approach to design. One that blends science with soul. A space that reflects you at your best and helps you become more of who you want to be.
“Home is an experience—a living, breathing reflection of who you are and what you value.”
Meet The Founder
Where psychology & design meet purpose.
Hi, I’m Deanna!
Where It All Began
Design and psychology have always been at the center of what I’m drawn to. I’ve always been fascinated by how an environment can engulf you emotionally. How beauty, nature, color, or light can create a visceral sense of connection, calm, or joy.
My interest in understanding how we process and interact with the world around us led me to study psychology while working in creative roles like photography and makeup artistry. Even then, I was exploring how aesthetic, functional, and emotional cues intersect to influence how we feel.
From Research to Real-World Impact
During my research master’s in social psychology, I became captivated by the science of identity, well-being, and interpersonal relationships. I explored how we construct meaning, how our environments affect our behavior, and how our inner and outer worlds mirror each other. I co-authored a scientific paper on relationships and spent time working as a research assistant, further deepening my understanding of the human experience.
After graduate school, I pivoted into brand development. There, I helped clients clarify their purpose, define their identity, and build cultures that aligned with their values. But I often found myself asking: identity for what outcome?
Returning to The Power Of Place
The answer brought me back to interior environments. I realized that the space we live in, our home, is the one place we have control over. And it can be the most powerful tool for supporting our mental clarity, creativity, relationships, rest, and ambitions.
In recent years, I’ve dived deeply into sustainable design, passive homes, and evidence-based design practices. I’m currently studying to become a WELL AP, and I’m particularly interested in how architectural and interior environments can be personalized to reflect and support well-being in tangible, measurable ways.
Design is identity work. When we design with intention, we don’t just decorate, we support transformation. Whether it's feeling safe, reconnecting with creativity, improving relationships, or making room for rest, your space can actively participate in your growth and recovery.
At Vivant, I use both scientific insight and artistic intuition to create spaces that speak to your story, your rhythm, and your evolution. Every home holds the potential to become a mirror of your highest self and a quiet partner in helping you live more vividly, more mindfully, and more fully alive.
